Look who is looking for you! Adoption Events: We will beat PetSmart in Chesterfield, MO - 262 THF Boulevard this coming Saturday December 8th from 11:00am to 5:00pm. Here is one of 10 pups who came to us as a mix of mixes. That “melting pot” of heritage that our country is famous for… well, these pups personify that civics lesson. Three moms – a Dachshund, a Beagle and a Yorky - had pups at the same time. The possible fathers are also a combination of choices: Dachshund, Beagle, Jack Russell just to name a few. The girls were not monogamous. Since the pups were all raised together… it is beginning to sound like one of those California Cults, isn’t it… we can only guess who is who by looking at the pups.
Davie is definitely a Dash mix.
If you are looking for puppies, you might have seen some of our Angel Pups – the pure bred or “designer pups” who are raised in the best of circumstances and have an adoption fee of $275. Just babies, these pups are not yet housetrained – too young. At this age, it is up to you to take your puppy out and help him or her learn to be the best pup ever. Housetraining will be successful if you expect more of yourself than you do of your pup.. A crate and praise are the key to success. Housetraining tips are in your adoption packet.
Davey has been neutered and has his rabies vaccination. Our puppies have had all of their vaccines to date and, like all pups this age, they require continuing vaccinations at 2 week intervals until they are 14 -16 weeks old.

Adoption Fees and Payment Plans: We take credit cards and payments. As with all of our adoptions, we know it is hard to get married on a blind date... even to a wonderful pup. We will take our dog back during the first month and refund your adoption fee less $50. To hold a pup, we ask for a $50 non-refundable deposit.
Delivery and shipping: Free Delivery to St. Louis weekly. For other locations, we will attempt to arrange delivery.
About the breed: A lively and sweet natured creature, the Dachshund is a dog that makes a loyal and devoted pet for the right owner. Well suited to both inexperienced and experienced dog owners, they are adaptable, intelligent, and sociable. The Dachshund is not the right choice for those with little time to dedicate to a pet, as they do need love, attention, and companionship. Training should not prove too much of a challenge, as the Dachshund is quick to learn, eager to please, and responsive. However, he can have a very possessive streak when it comes to his belongings and food. The Dachshund has a great sense of humor, and can be a very entertaining and cheerful pet to have around. The sharp bark of these dogs makes them effective watchdogs. He tends to get along well with older, gentler kids.
