Chihuahua - Leecy - Small - Young - Female - Dog
Beautiful little Leecy is about 12 lbs now, likely done growing and thanks to loving foster care is growing into a fine little lady. She uses pee pads for back when her foster mom is not home but is good at the doggy door. She loves to go outside and play and would need some safety enclosure to be able to continue to enjoy supervised yard time in her new home. Leecey is social and outgoing. She is altered and current on shots and will make a loving little lap dog. Leecy enjoys other dogs and is a great playmate for another little one. Leecy sits still to get her hair done and is an all around great little girl. We do not consider her non allergenic.
Update from Foster MOM: Leecy was born June 10 of 2008 in a puppy mill. We aren't sure how she was lucky enough to escape at her young age, but she has been spayed and checked over by the vet and is a happy, healthy little girl! She has a stub tail and is bigger than your average chihuahua but small for a POO-she seems to be going to stay under or around ten pounds. She was terribly afraid and shy when she came, but she is coming around very nicely. She will come right to me and put her paws on my leg now, but she still has some distrust, so she will need a lot of love and understanding to overcome her past. I have her in a smaller area that I cover with newspaper, so she is getting used to paper training, and on the nice days we go out and play in the yard for about an hour. My schedule has not allowed me to do any formal 'housetraing' where she has a potty schedule, but she is used to getting outside now. She has a very sweet nature, and will end up being a cuddle bug for anyone who spends time with her. born 6-10-08-Adoption donation of $150 applies to help cover vet costs.
